Court Bennett, a native of Sandy, Utah, received his BFA in sculpture from Utah State University in 1996 and
his MFA in sculpture at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, in 2003.  His sculptures are hand-
constructed, beautiful, bio-mechanical forms, which combine materials in unconventional, dark and humorous
ways.  He draws upon his experiences as a westerner, mormon, and satirist.

Court's exhibitions include: Court Bennett at the Finch Lane Gallery in 2005,
Court Bennett:New Work at Salt Lake City's Rose Wagner Center for the Performing Arts in 2006, and The
Face of Utah Sculpture
invitational group exhibitions in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.  

He recently completed his third solo exhibition at the Carr Gallery in Idaho Falls, Idaho entitled
Funny, Cuddly,
Creepy, Sexy, Beautiful: The Sculptures of Court Bennett
in March, 2011, followed by multiple group
exhibitions in 2012.

Court currently teaches Jewelry
/Culture and Creation at Salt Lake Communtiy College and works as a
technician and graphic artist for AlphaLab, Inc.He has served as juror for student exhibitions at Hillcrest,
Bingham and Brighton High Schools
in the Salt Lake Valley and is represented by Nox Contemporary Gallery
in Salt Lake City.
